During the first day in campus, we got many informations about FEU and its Institute of Education.

Far Eastern University in green and gold view as its identity.

On August 6, it was such a sunny day. Dr.Stephen told us that he would like to pick us at the hotel that day. But, maybe because he was so busy then he assigned his colleague, Dr. Arnel Bravo, to pick us in the hotel. Dr. Arnel was so kind and humble, he told us how to use train because it will be our transportation for whole month here from the dorm to the campus/school (fyi, FEU and FEU High School is in the same location). Far Eastern University was established in 1928 and it is located at Nicanor Reyes Street in Sampaloc, Manila. So, if we want to go there from our dorm Madison 101 Hotel, we have to take train from Gilmore to Recto station, it passed 4 stations to reach Recto (the last station). After arriving at Far Eastern University, we attended the freshmen orientation of Institute of Education at one of the hall of FEU. We watched the historical story of FEU since it was established by Dr. Nicanor Reyes Street till now it is led by the 11th President, Dr. Michael M. Alba. After that, we got lunch with the Dean of Institute of Education, Dr. Elisa Mañalac, and her colleagues. They were very humble and welcome, we felt so blessed to be surrounded by them. The next agenda, we were permitted to walk around FEU with Mr.Jeremy to explore more about this campus buildings and situations. FEU is such a big and fresh campus, it has lots of trees and grassy along the path we passed.

Lastly, we joined the Freshmen Orientation that conducted by Dr.Stephen Jay Co as the Program Head of Institute of Education, Undergraduate Studies. He introduced his colleagues in Institute of Education and explained more all about IE.
