Heavy rain and strong wind during the first cultural tour in National Museum of Fine Arts, so how was that?

Dr.Stephen, coordinator for SEA Teacher Project Batch 6 in Far Eastern University told us that every Saturday we’ll have any cultural tour, so that’s the time for exploring Manila. After doing some orientations and observations for about 5 days in school, finally the waited day was coming, cultural tour part 1!

Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day on August 11. When we were arriving at FEU, it was suddenly pouring rain and we forgot to bring umbrellas. So, Dr.Stephen borrowed us two umbrellas. We went to the National Museum by jeepney, it was our second time ridden that traditional public transportation of Philippines. By the way, we were also accompanied by Sir Jeff, he was Dr.Stephen’s friend. As the day became a heavy rainy day, we got wet. But, just trying to enjoy every single thing in National Museum of Fine Arts, strolling around to see the paintings and drawings from the abstract ones to the real ones. There are around 12 galleries in this arts museum, but we just visited around 6 galleries. Each gallery presented the different theme of arts, sometimes also it depends on who drew it.

After strolling around the museum, we went back to the level 2 then took some pictures again while waiting for the rain to stop. But it was looked like the rain wouldn’t stop, so we decided to just continued our trip to the Rizal Park, we just walked because it was not far from the museum. It was a really heavy rainy day, stormy and strong windy especially when we arrived in Rizal Park, it felt like the wind wanted to fly us with our umbrellas, ha ha how funny it was we laughed hard. Therefore, finally Dr.Stephen decided to stop our trip, he was afraid that we will be sick if we forced to break through the rain and wind. So, we therefore went to the Isetann near FEU to take our lunch and we chose Bonchon. After ordering the foods, Dr.Stephen went somewhere and back with some Vitamin C and medicines. He was really afraid if we got sick, so he bought us that. After lunch, we separated and back to the dorm.
